Oppo has officially launched its latest budget-friendly 5G smartphone — the Oppo A5x 5G — following the recent debut of the 4G version. This new model delivers a solid combination of performance, durability, and long battery life, making it a standout choice in the affordable 5G segment.
Powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 chipset, the Oppo A5x 5G runs Android 15 with Oppo’s custom ColorOS 15 on top. It comes equipped with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, offering smooth multitasking and ample space for apps, photos, and media.
Oppo A5x 5G Display and Performance
The device sports a 120Hz LCD display with up to 1,000 nits peak brightness, ensuring a responsive and clear visual experience even under bright sunlight. While Oppo has not disclosed the exact screen size and resolution, the panel includes advanced touch technologies like Splash Touch and Glove Touch, allowing users to navigate the phone effortlessly even with wet hands or while wearing gloves.
Camera and Battery Specifications
In terms of camera capabilities, the Oppo A5x 5G features a 32MP main rear camera, delivering detailed shots, while a 5MP front-facing camera handles selfies and video calls.

The Oppo A5x 5G is priced at INR 13,999 (approximately $165 or €145) and will be available in Midnight Blue and Laser White colors starting May 25 via Oppo’s official India website, Amazon.in, Flipkart, and authorized retail stores across India.
